Why traders use Bagswap

A swap is the quickest way to trade a small amount. These are the trades a pool handles badly.

#1

Sell a big bag without crashing the chart

A swap makes every token you sell cheaper than the last. An offer has one price, so a buyer taking all of it pays the same per token as one taking a little.

Example: selling 10% of a thin pool loses about 10% on a swap. A fixed-price offer that fills costs you 1%.

#2

Skip the pool and launch fees

Launch pools can charge steep fees right after launch. A Bagswap trade never touches a pool: 1% from the buyer, 1% from the seller, plus the network fee.

Example: pump.fun charges 1.25% per swap before a coin graduates.

#3

Paired with another token? Get paid in SOL

If your token trades against another token, selling for SOL takes two swaps and two sets of fees. Offers are priced in SOL, so the buyer pays you directly.

Example: two swaps lose about 10.4%; a fixed-price offer in SOL that fills costs you 1%.

#4

Deal with a buyer you know, and nobody sends first

"WTS 50k, DM me" usually ends with "you send first". Make a private offer that only their wallet can buy. Tokens and payment swap in one transaction.

#5

Your offer works while you sleep

Write the price once. Buyers can fill it any time and you're paid in the same transaction. No end date, or any end from 5 minutes to a year. Cancel anytime.

#6

Buy size without pushing the price up

Post a funded buy request. Your SOL waits in escrow, so any holder can sell to you instantly at your price. Cancel anytime and get back what wasn't used.

An offer only fills if someone wants it at your price. For small, instant trades a DEX is still quicker.

1

Find the right token.

Search by name or paste the mint address (CA). Match the full CA, not the ticker.

2

Choose how much.

Any amount from the seller's minimum up, at their fixed price. You see the total and the 1% fee before you sign.

3

Sign once.

Your payment and the tokens swap in one transaction. If anything fails, nothing moves.

Ask for a price

No offer for the token you want? Post a buy request: interest only (nothing is locked) or funded (your SOL is locked so any holder can sell to you instantly).

Your tokens never sit with a person

The idea behind Bagswap: when you list, your tokens go into an escrow program, not a company wallet. Code decides where they can go, and the rules are public.

The plan · escrow in build

Tokens → buyer · payment minus fee → seller · Cancel → unsold tokens back to the seller

The program is built to

Send your tokens to a buyer who paid, in the same transaction as the payment. Send them back to you when you cancel or your offer ends.

It can't

Move your tokens anywhere else. Change or cancel your offer. Only you can.

Before you sign

You see the price, fee and total first. Sign-in asks for a message signature, not a transaction. Tokens that tax every transfer can't be listed.

Questions

Why would I use this instead of a DEX?

For small, instant trades a DEX is usually better. Bagswap is for the trades a pool handles badly: buying or selling size in a thin pool (a fixed price has no price impact), tokens whose pools charge high swap or launch fees, tokens paired with another token instead of SOL, offers that keep working while you're offline, and deals with a buyer you already know. Buyers pay 1% and sellers pay 1%, with no pool fee. An offer only fills if someone wants it at your price.

Does my offer stay up while I'm offline?

That's the idea: your offer lives in the escrow, not on your device, so buyers can fill it at any time and the payment lands in your wallet in the same transaction. A fixed price doesn't follow the market, so check your offer when the price moves.

What are the fees?

Buyers and sellers each pay a 1% Bagswap fee. Buyers pay 1% on top of the purchase price. Sellers pay 1%, taken from what they receive. Everyone pays normal Solana network fees (usually under $0.01).

How do I make sure I'm buying the right token?

Match the full mint address (CA), not the name or ticker. Anyone can create a token called "BONK". If the mint doesn't match the one the project publishes, don't buy.

Can I cancel or change my offer?

You can cancel anytime and unsold tokens return to your wallet. To change the price, cancel and list again. Nobody else can edit your offer.
